Sheep Brains

Sheep brains are the brains of domestic sheep and are used in various cultural and culinary practices around the world. In some cultures, sheep brains are considered a delicacy and are often prepared by cooking or boiling them and serving them as a dish.

From a scientific perspective, sheep brains are commonly used in research related to the nervous system, such as the study of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. Researchers may also use sheep brains for teaching purposes in anatomy and physiology courses.

It's worth noting that consumption of animal brains, including sheep brains, has been associated with the transmission of prion diseases, such as Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease in humans. Therefore, it's important to handle and prepare animal brains carefully to avoid any potential health risks.
